The weather man predicted high heat and wind for our fifth tournament of the season. Thankfully, the heat was not as bad as predicted and the stiff wind provided some relief as well. But, the heat didn't slow down Bruce and Jake Rudd as they took home first place with a 3 fish limit weighing in at 13.19 lbs. For capturing first place, they were reward with $110. Wade Eaddy was also successful in the heat with very nice 3 fish limit weighing 12.36 lbs. Wade captured second place and took him $50. Jake Rudd also landed the tournament's big bass at 6.21 lbs. Not only did he take home $40 but this was also his new personal best catch.

Of the eight boats in the field, 7 brought a 3 fish limit to the scales. In total, 21 bass we weighed in for a combinded weight of 63.56 lbs. Also, despite the heat, all fish survived the weigh in and were released alive so major kudos go out to everyone for taking care of their fish.
