Post frontal conditions resulted in cooler temperatures and windy conditions. However, the bite was still good with several large bags being brought to weigh in. Jesse Wise and partner Josh McMiller took home first place and $180 with their solid three fish limit that weighed 16.16 lbs. Second place went to William Small with another hefty limit at 15.39 lbs for which he took home $80. Big fish winner of the day was Tim Cantwell with his 6.46 lb beauty and he claimed $65 as a result. Today was a our largest turn out to date with 13 boats in total. Twelve boats brought fish to the scales and 10 limits were weighed in. In all, 34 bass were brought to the scales for a grand total of 95.16 lbs, our second highest total of the season. Additionally, 8 or 9 fish in the 5+ pound range were weighed in as well.

As of our fourth tournament of the season our Classic pot has reached $440. We have 5 fishermen that have qualified for the Classic in October. Those anglers are:

Mark Cooper
Wade Eaddy
Randy Black
Six other anglers have fished two tournaments and are 1 away from qualifying for the Classic.
