John Anderson wins at Ledge Rock

The first tournament of the season was a cold, damp affair. Dark skies, breezy conditions and occassional drizzle added the the challenge of bringing a heavy bag to weigh in. John Anderson was able find some solid fish, including the tournament's big fish of 7.5 pounds. John's three fish limit came in at a very respectable 13 pounds.

Two other teams, a total of 5 anglers including two local high school anglers, braved the less than perfect weather conditions. While John was the only angler to bring a limit to the scales, all teams where able to find fish and bring some to the weigh in.

Hopefully, the weather will be more cooperative for our next tournament at Poe's Ridge Boat Ramp on Jordan Lake on April 17, 2016
