The third tournament of the Piedmont Tournament Trail Series once again blasted off with less that ideal weather conditions. Early morning wind followed by rain and thunderstorms added an extra level of challenge to the tournament. Josh Hooks was up to the task and climbed to the top of the 10 boat field with a three fish limit of 14.76 lbs and took home the first place winning of $140. Chris Fergason's bag weighing 7.47 lbs was enough for second place and $60. Chris's bag was anchored by a 6.69 beauty that also landed him the big fish prize of $50. If the ten boats in the field, seven managed to catch scoreable bass weighing over 40 lbs.
